The easy-to-integrate design concept allows the Gryphon GFS4400 2D scanning module to provide system designers with a "plug and play" solution. The GFS4400 2D OEM scanning module offers users superior performance in decoding and reading damaged barcodes due to its excellent close-range scanning characteristics, wide-angle field of view, high mobile tolerance, and fast reading. Like all Gryphon scanners, the GFS4400 Scan Module has Datalogic's patented "Green Dot" technology that provides efficient read feedback.
Because the GFS4400 OEM scans the module's deep red steady lighting, it maximizes user comfort. Compared with the blinking light of competing products, it is easier for the eye to distinguish, while the high-visibility 4-point sight defines an accurate reading area that reduces the number of accidental readings. The center cross of the sight is positioned in the bar code environment for the target bar code.
The GFS4400 OEM scanning module provides fast reading performance for one- and two-dimensional barcodes such as postcodes, PDF417, and other stacked and composite codes. For mobile marketing or ticketing applications, this image scanning module can also exhibit superior performance when reading barcodes on mobile devices.
Collecting the signatures and scanning the files requires a separate device, but with the GFS4400 OEM scanning module these separate devices are no longer needed.
There are several trigger modes available in the GFS4400 OEM scan module. First of all, the scanning module can automatically sense the object and trigger it automatically. There is also a continuous scan mode that automatically scans and transmits data as the barcode passes through its field of view. It can also be triggered remotely via a programmable logic controller (PLC) or external to the sensor.
GFS4400 OEM scanning module has GFS4450-9 model supporting RS-232 serial port and GFS4470 model supporting USB interface. The USB version supports easy-to-integrate USB-HID or USB COM for analog serial communication.
